I’m Grace Williamson and I’m the owner of Peabody’s Boutique. I pride myself and my business in being your local trendy, affordable, and praying boutique. At Peabody’s you’ll find a sprinkle of something for everyone!  Our store carries baby, children, tween, teen, women, and men’s apparel and accessories. 

Peabody’s is located in a small town in Eastern Kentucky called Pikeville, but I hope to open up other storefronts in nearby towns over the next few years. (Please let us know if you’d like to see a Peabody’s Boutique near you!) 

Peabody’s Boutique began as a dream of mine when I was a little girl, and it stuck with me until I was 25 and finally was able to bring my dream to life. Coming up with the name was easy enough: my beautiful daughter Penelope, the source of my inner strength, was given the nickname of “Peabody” as a baby… so, of course I wanted her to be a part of my dream however I could. I hope that one day I will have a prosperous and incredibly successful business to pass down to her, so that she may never know the struggles that I endured (financially, physically, and mentally). I am adamant about keeping my prices affordable, due to the struggles I faced as a new mother and then later as a single mother. Raising and providing for a child is hard enough, you shouldn’t have to hunt and search for affordable and trendy clothing: it should be easily and locally accessible. Through Peabody’s, I hope to provide that to our community, among the many other things we like to do to help them out (from back-to-school giveaways to praying with a momma that has a bruised and broken heart). My store has become a safe place for some of my customers, while others know they can make themselves at home while they chat and shop with people who truly care what they have to say. 

I aim to be an inspiration to my daughter and others, to show that it doesn’t matter where you come from and what you have been through, that God has a plan for you and you can achieve success… with my sweet daughter, my husband, and a handful of praying friends and family at my side, Peabody’s is proof of that.
